BL: that seems to be a silly thing to deny, haha
BL: and i think that the whole point of compliments is that while the giver certainly doesn't have to, they rather want to. ;)
BL: it does keep us in order, doesn't it? ;o
BL: the question is, though, is that a good thing or a bad thing?
BL: do we necessarily need to know who is ranked where?
BL: not to mention that we are limited by blood color
BL: something so meaningless and random as the pigment in our blood should not define who we are or who we are meant to be
BL: and, instead, we should let our actions speak for our place in society, rather than our measure of luck at birth

BL: the hemospectrum and our society's approach to it has always interested me, and i can get very passionate about it

BL: but then, i don't believe that it's necessary for anyone to really place themselves anywhere, as i find it to be demeaning and counterproductive to measure your worth based on the abilities and achievements of others
BL: largely because those others aren't you
BL: and despite how similar people may seem, there is something unique about each of us in how we act and think and portray ourselves
BL: and what is "meant to be" in our current society doesn't hold true for all societies
BL: but then, i have a certain freedom to dream of a change in the future, as it is likely that i will not live long enough to see it
BL: it is easy to strive for action when you will not be around to witness the consequences, haha

BL: because there will always be, as you said, someone who rises up and takes charge
BL: that is not necessarily a bad thing, and our natural tendency for competition is what makes us strive to better ourselves, i think
BL: my issues with our society as it is today is that there is no room for competition outside our respective castes
BL: it is ludicrous to think that there is even any potential for true competition between one of a low caste and one of a high class, and there is no method of movement, which would serve as an excellent motivator
BL: which is rather ridiculous, if you think about it, as there are successful kismesissitudes between differing castes all the time
BL: and my overall point, which i believe you agree with, is that lowbloods should not be considered "low" just because our blood is warmer than that of those "above" us
BL: it is interesting, though, that our friends do not punish us, as you say
BL: and also interesting that you use the word punish
