No one really knows what she really looks like or who she is. She always runs around wearing a mask, the mask is creepy looking. Sometimes trolls can’t decide if she’s really wearing a mask or not. First glance she seems to be pretty harmless, she’s off playing around catching butterflies and just doing things that don’t alarm anytroll what so ever. However, looks can be deceiving. Sorris doesn’t really like other trolls. In fact, she dislikes all the trolls that are castes above her. Depending on how high a troll is on the spectrum her dislike for them increases. Because no one knows who she is, no one knows why she this way. She lives in a very dark forest where most of it is overrun by vines and strange thickets of thorns. Trolls get lost all the time in the forest trying to get to the next city or something. This is the time she gets away with doing whatever she likes. She mostly likes to mess with heads of other trolls. She likes to answer questions with more questions. She give trolls the opportunity to open their minds to the possibilities with her responses. Most of the time she can come off as very vexing. The more the traveller annoys her; she ends up leading them to their deaths. She leads them, pretending to help them but she ends up pushing them into an abyss that is located in the center of the forest. Trolls that don’t annoy her as much usually get off with just an annoying conversation that leads them to frustration. Those trolls are the ones who come out the forest alive. There are trolls that attempt to kill her for the obvious reasons of being a nuisance amongst other things. However no one has been able to. This maybe due to the fact that she can disappear into the atmosphere, also known as a power called camouflage. She can control it to a point that she can roam around as a floating head or a set of arms or legs and what not. She uses this technique to scare many, many trolls, and in few cases, to death. She also has a habit of stealing things, just shiny things that look pretty. It developed into a habit some time ago. Sorris first heard about the game from another rust blood that got lost in her forest. They explained that the game was world changing and that no one knew of the game’s actual purpose or the goal of the game. Sorris became curious as something that had a well-kept secret was worth going for; she began to interrogate the red blood further. She realized that she would have to make friends in order to get into the game. She realized there was no time to meet a bunch of individuals whom probably had enough players to play…. or did she? As she chatted with the red blood guiding them through out the forest, she secretly led them to the abyss that was well hidden at the Forests center. She then asked the girl for the disc to see what it looked like. The foolish red blood allowed Sorris to see the disc. Once the game was in her hand, the red blood was of no use to her. She shoved the girl off the ledge. She died on impact; redbloods aren’t very durable for something like that. It was at this moment that Sorris would take the girl’s place and she would play the game instead. And until she could find out the true meaning to the game, she would have to play ‘nice’ with the others and fit in as best as she could. Sorris’s Ancestor was THE AUXLIAR. She was equally fickle as her descendant. She was known to be a heavy tea drinker, having a cup of tea in her hands at all times. She was mostly seen getting into other troll’s matters, whether it was good or bad. She is seen observing them and them ultimately interfering when she deemed so. In some of those cases, she had been very helpful. No one knows if she actually did it to help them or she had her own agendas to appeal to. For some reason it appears as if she was changing the possibilities for other trolls and it seemed with each troll she interfered with, she changed them in one way or another. And when it was time to thank her, she was gone like a ghost. Again adding to a theory of did she want to help them or she actually has some plans to take care of. [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px white;]home[/style] ❧ As stated earlier Sorris lives in a pretty dark forest that has many trees. Many trolls who get into the forest find themselves lost fairly easily. Only Sorris knows the way to get out. But not many trolls she guides into her forest get out alive. Sometimes, if they’re high on the spectrum or began to annoy her she leads them off to an abyss in the middle of the forest like this: And shoves them off in the pit where she leaves them until they die. Her lusus is called the grinning cat. Most trolls that spot this lusus notes that the cat is always grinning and never changes the expression. GC as Sorris calls her affectionately is mostly an outdoors type of cat and is almost never in the hive. She is seen hunting with Sorris or one rare occasion leading wandering victims to her charge so that she can take care of them. GC isn’t fond of other trolls in her forest, but as long as Sorris can tolerate them she will too, for sometime. GC is a very mischievous cat and is almost always u to no good. She used to play awful tricks on Sorris, like abandoning her in the forest so she could find her way back hive on her own. Attacked her at random times in random places, Chased her around the forest for a while, etc. Now while it seemed to be cruel to treat a young troll this way, most of it was to teach Sorris how to take care of herself and survive. GC was not a very affectionate Lusus towards her charge. She needed Sorris to understand that Alternia was not a forgiving place and being that she was the lowest on the spectrum, the others would not treat her well and look down upon her. GC wanted her to stand up to that and be strong and accept the world for what it truly is and not think about a fantasyland where all trolls are equal and all that bullshit. GC is better than that. It would take many generations of trolls to go through for that to happen. And even though they aren’t affectionate toward one another, they deeply care about the other and protect each other to the point of death. To retrieve an item you’d have to play with the ball and pick out the card you need. If the card you need is the first card in the chain, all the items come out of the cards and you’d have to start a new one. So make sure if you need a specific item later, make sure it’s not the first card in the chain. [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px white;]powers & skills[/style] ❧ Flexibility: Lowbloods aren’t as durable as highbloods. But due to the fact that she is the lowest on the spectrum she’s smaller and more flexible allowing her to climb through the trees and the thicket easily. ❧ Lightweight: She is smaller and lighter enough to climb on the branches of the trees and they will hold her up. And being that she needs an advantage over anytroll in her forest being able to stay up in a tree while highblood’s can’t is one of the few she may have. ❧ Cat-Like Reflexes: Being that her lusus, the Grinning Cat taught her everything she knows. Her reflexes are as sharp as a cat’s is. She would be able to dodge something a lot quicker than most trolls and quick enough to attack an opponent who isn’t fast enough to catch her. ❧ Sneak Expert: She’s pretty excellent at concealing her presence. Most of this is due to her ability. ❧ Camouflage: Her psionic ability allows her to cloak herself in plain view. Sorris can match up to any texture of any surface and become ‘invisible’. Usually this ability works better in darker places like caves and her forest. The more light there is in the area, the harder it is for her to cloak herself. ❧ Above Average Stamina: She would need plenty of it in order to perform any of her combat moves. ❧ Secret Identity: Since she wears a mask to cloak her face, no one knows her true identity. They aren’t sure if her name is Sorris. When she does take off her mask (Which isn’t often) and puts on another attire, no one can recognize her. Allowing her to get into towns if she has business to attend to. ❧ Huntress: For the most part she hunts for her own food and water in her forest. If she every left to town for food it would probably be sweets. And she rarely consumes sweet. Once in a while she’ll go buy cinnamon rolls, her only favorite sweets. ❧ Managing other personalities: Now this doesn’t mean she’s mentally disturbed. It means she’s really good taking on another personality if she needed to. Say she killed a certain red blood to take their place in the group of trolls playing a game. She’d have to act, as accordingly so she could become friends with all of the trolls to get in the game. Once she gets what she wants, she’ll revert back to her true self and commence with whatever she has planned.
