❧ Jude has lead a rather simple life. He never knew his parents and his Uncle has been watching after him for as long as he can remember. They live together in a small house on the outskirts of Detroit, Michigan in what is a rather... homely area. Ahem. To be frank, he lives in a shit hole.

Jude grew up on the streets, for the most part. His Uncle never really cared for him directly and had a much more reserved, background viewer style of parenting, and Jude loved the freedom. He would go outside every morning, never formally having to go to school, and rough up the neighbor kids. When they'd finish beating on each other (because they felt that self-destruction was the quickest way to improvement) they'd all gather at the local basketball court and play a few games.

After almost a decade of wasting around, Jude found a couple of friends over the internet who were far from the ghetto trash he knew in life. He would message people on the internet as often as he could and they ate away at his callous exterior. Rumor of the game entered the circle of passing conversation and Jude, through much effort and the help of some friends, managed to get his hands on a copy.

❧ Jude doesn't exactly live in a paradise, but he makes do. Living in the slums of Detroit Michigan, he is constantly watching his own back and avoiding confrontation. His bike was the riskiest move he's made but he has a bit of a reputation in the area and can afford to make some risks. ❧ The Modus Operandi. A modus of infinite confusion. Basically, it works like this. The modus is represented as a bag with fifteen open slots. Below those slots that the bag contains is a hotbar with one open slot known as "the hand" which is forever taken up by the bag; the modus itself. The modus is coded to not be able to be put within itself so if an item is taken out, bag is replaced by the item, the item shot out of "the hand" space and onto the floor and the bag resuming its position in the hand slot.

When the bag goes into itself, thus breaking its own code, a glitch occurs. This is registered as a virus and the bag fixes itself by undergoing a tediously small system restore, reverting the bag to an earlier point in time when "the glitch" was not a relevant factor. Therefore, the bag will create a duplicate of the item within itself whilst the previously removed item will remain in physical space. The outside item can be put back into the bag with a stacking limit of sixteen. If used correctly, this is a way to potentially create infinite anything. However, the duplicated item is a carbon copy of the original and therefore it is impractical to duplicate items such as money or irreplaceable objects, such as signed posters. The card color is an ice blue.

COMBAT; Years of fighting and losing have taught Jude plenty and he's become quite the force to be reckoned with. He almost has a bit of foresight when in the thick of it and can read his enemy extremely well.

QUICK; This kind of ties in with the combat thing, but not nearly for the same reason. Jude's quickness and light-footed nature is attributed to all the time he's spent playing his favorite sport.

PERCEPTIVE; These are all passives. Jude has incredibly quick and superb eyesight. 20/10, motherfuckers! They call me Eagle-Eyes whoop whoop.

❧ The Land of Xylem and Repose is anything but what it would seem. The surface is a massive ocean, with a few, increasingly rare (in reference to distance from Jude's own), islands. The orange skies above are hidden from view and the consorts of the land, the, blindingly beautiful, kilowhite mermaids, warn never to set foot above the massive canopy of leaves that shroud it. At least, they would if it were possible to understand them from above the water. No, there is no sound above sea level due to the presence of Hesychia who believes in tranquility through absolute silence. She is the cause of the muteness of even the player when he is not submerged in the great oceans. Swimming to the bottom of this ocean (notably requiring some serious scuba gear) will reveal the core.

The disproportionately massive core of the planet is comprised of a rich sphere of hollow xylem. In other words, wood. The core shoots out massive tendrils of knotted wooden structures, emerging from the ocean's surface into a gargantuan, planet-wide canopy of forest. Science would tell you that these trees are being sustained by some sort of nutrient within the core, which is, as mentioned, hollow, undoubtedly holding mysteries within.

Unbeknownst to Jude, his fate rests on him discovering the mysteries at the center of his planet and figuring out how to deal with Hesychia.

❧ Jude is kind of a tumbleweed in the breeze. Not really sure where he's headed, but he's deadset it's somewhere. The run-of-the-mill Denizen quest is just to discover the mysteries of his planet and beat up Hesychia.

❧ motorcycles; for the longest time it's been the mechanics of them, but he's finally got his hands on his own bike and now the interest is riding
❧ fighting; at first this was merely a means of self protection, but it quickly became a hobby and he now oftens a local fight club
❧ art; he'd never admit it, but he loves to sketch people and can be caught doing so late at night in the downtown areas. His main subject is the young homeless
