With your goggles over your eyes, using their link to your computer, you're busy building and seeing everything from the corner view. Because you didn't need the mind trip you purposefully positioned yourself far enough away from the house that you can't see yourself in Venn's game. But because of this you're completely unaware, primarily because Venn somehow managed to befriend all of the enemies in the immediate area and they weren't dangerous.
So when you feel a tap on your shoulder you practically jump out of your skin and whirl around. Which causes a rather large protrusion to be built from the structure you're working on in the distance. Turning around doesn't do anything until you remove your goggles and see the rather shapely girl who had tapped you. Cael.
