==> QW: Wake up Well you have to fall asleep first, but after all your activities lately and all your panicking has you quite beat out. And for some reason, probably due to your abilities as Seer of Time, you know exactly what's about to happen. So before you fall asleep and promptly wake up you decide to make one last message to Ocia. quibbledWhimsy [QW] began pestering nihilPhilanthropist [NP] at --:--
QW: I'm tired. QW: I think it's time. QW: Seer of Time and all. QW: I know these things. QW: I guess . . . QW: See you soon?
==> QW: Fall asleep, then wake up You do. And suddenly you're on Derse and all of the things that were stressing you out when you were awake seem childish and frivolous. Almost petty.
You get up and begin your search for the Draconian Dignitary. That was who Ocia told you to find. Fortunately you also know exactly where he is, and you don't need to question how you know this. You just do.

==>: DD: Meet With The Dreamer.
Welcome the the party Miss. And the dead riseth. Derringer had been waiting for this one.
The glowy-eyed kid from Prospit had asked a favor. Well, not a favor. He was pretty direct about it. Simply put, if the Gods wanted it the gods did achieve. The kid was probably lying, knowing the humans, but it would look good on his file.
ACHIEVEMENT: Did Well
Well that oughtta do it now. Derringer drew close and held out a gentle hand to shake. Or curtsy. Or whatever humans did. Didn't really matter he supposed- he'd probably never talk to this girl again. Fortunately the ride to Prospit was quick so it wouldn't be too bad for her.
DERRINGER: Welcome to Derse. DERRINGER: Today I will be your guide to Prospit. DERRINGER: You may call me Derringer. DERRINGER: Simply put, me and a handful of others often go to Prospit during our excursions. DERRINGER: And I agreed to take you there as I must go as well. DERRINGER: The transport is this way.
With that the carapace turned, straightening his suit, and opened the door to the vessel. As he sat on one of the plush, comfortable seats, he tilted his head.
DERRINGER: It will not take long. DERRINGER: But I would like to understand more about your kind. DERRINGER: So did you have a difficult time getting here, to the Medium, from wherever you came from?

==> QW: Enter vessel First you shake the Dignitary's hand as he offered. Don't want to be rude to your esteemed host. He seemed quite cooperative. Then you enter the vessel after he opened the door and sit down on those plush, comfortable seats. CALI: My name is Cali. CALI: Personally I never had much trouble. CALI: I already saw a friend do it at the time. CALI: But some of us have had trouble. CALI: And some of us will. CALI: As the more that enter the Medium the more our planet Earth gets destroyed. CALI: But everyone will make it in. CALI: Feel free to ask me anything.

==>: DD: Do So. With the doors sealed, the vessel jumped forward, building up speed as it left Derse's atmosphere. Derringer was rather happy that he was sitting where he was- the window behind Cali displayed a small blue dot in the distance. It was a far better view than that of the one behind him. Then again, a Dersite wouldn't be affected by the images outside of their planet. They grew up with them. Derringer took up her offer.
DERRINGER: You and your partners have been extremely efficient in getting here. DERRINGER: I have to say I am impressed at the teamwork and cooperation. DERRINGER: Who is the leader? Is he human? Or did you have someone from here, the Medium, helping you in? DERRINGER: Unfortunately I have only spoken to a handful of humans so I do not know of the situations you have all been in. DERRINGER: Nor do I know of your experiences before this place.
Derringer had to admit he had no idea what was going on. The Black Queen hadn't said much either- she was being rather lethargic of late when it came to the war. And he had to admit...
He was in the dark when it came to her plans.
The Veil passed by them, the still meteors completely unremarkable. Derringer hoped that he wouldn't be on Skaia when they fell.

==> QW: Stare out the window Ocia asked you to look into the Furthest Ring when you awoke. You'd hate to disappoint him and this is your last chance while on Derse. Not that you really need to do that now. You know much more here than you do when you're awake. You do not need to look in order to See, it seems. CALI: We arranged ourselves into a few different teams. CALI: It makes it easier. CALI: So there is no one leader. CALI: I've been the one filling everyone in on details. CALI: I'm the Seer class, so that's my role. CALI: It's been . . . taxing, to say the least. CALI: You'll speak to more humans. CALI: I know that for a fact. CALI: And each of us have different experiences.

==>: DD: Ask The Real Question.
The one that Lela had only hinted at. The twelve planets orbiting around Skaia were in view now. Whilst not all of them could be seen, it was easy to identify the orbs' silhouettes.
DERRINGER: I talked to Miss Lela a while back. DERRINGER: And she mentioned aliens. DERRINGER: Or rather, said something about them interfering with the session. DERRINGER: Are there really aliens?
It was impossible to think of. Aliens, existing? No way. The planets passed by them and Derringer looked to the front of the cab, past the glass screen. The pilot was looking out over the abyss for the golden dot. Prospit wasn't too far away, but while they waited, the diplomat wanted to know what was happening beyond the Medium.

==> QW: Lie about the trolls. Maybe it's just a foolish instinct, or maybe it's because with all your newfound understanding you know Derse isn't a friendly place, but you don't think you should share all of this information with the Dignitary. Not just yet. But you're not a good liar. So it's best to work with half-truths. CALI: Well you have to understand something. CALI: From my viewpoint you would count as an alien. CALI: And that's not even counting the consorts and denizens of the twelve worlds. CALI: Or the Prospitarians. CALI: No offense. CALI: And to you no doubt I'm an alien. CALI: So I guess yes, there are aliens.

==>: DD: Grin.
She's hiding something. Derringer nodded and smiled. The arrow knows all. This girl answered her question. But he didn't want the damn answer. Simply put, he would have to find a kid more talkative. He pulled his cigarette case from his vest pocket and opened it, running his carapace index finger down a rather enticing narcotic.
DERRINGER: I have no idea what you just said. DERRINGER: But it sounds interesting. DERRINGER: I can't say I understand space or anything. DERRINGER: But simply put I fear of the aliens killing all of us... DERRINGER: In the event that they do have a hold over the session. DERRINGER: And as much as I'd like to tell you about what they could do...
The door slid open. Crisp, clean air made its way in and the dark purple cab was lit with gold.
They were here.

==> QW: Exit cab. You do. But you make a point of thanking your kind host first. CALI: Thank you for the ride. CALI: And Derringer. CALI: I am the Seer of Time. CALI: I can tell you that no aliens kill us all. CALI: I promise you that.
==> QW: Find Ocia A normally daunting task, but you are the Seer and it shouldn't be much trouble for you. As such you take your time after leaving the cab to take in the scenery. Or rather to stifle the butterflies in your stomach. Ocia was a black spot for you; your powers as the Seer do not work around him. This makes you a little nervous and very much intrigued.

==>: DD: Get Off At A Later Stop.
You are quite literally enraged. As the cab door closed Derringer dropped his facade. While cool and collected, his expression was that of grim irritation. They had the information. They had all but confirmed what he wanted to know. Something was out there. It was helping them. But these kids were smart... And he knew that the brat wouldn't tell him anything. That kid knew when he was coming- he was always able to dodge out of the way. But still, he was slowly getting somewhere. He needed to find one of the kids that was a little more open to sharing.
This was getting irritating fast. He was about to just phone Jack to start stabbing bitches.
He fumed silently as he lit his cigarette. Onto the next one...

==>: OCIA: Meet Your Friend.
Be nervous. Ocia grinned as his Seer friend looked around blindly. The rather tall individual only then realized that she quite simply would not know what he looked like. Pesterchum friends after all. He mentally facepalmed. Oh. Wait. That's right, he was like the only human here right now. Second facepalm.
The mage flew through the skies, scanning the crowd below. In time he found himself hovering over a figure he'd never seen before in Prospit. He grinned at the purple regalia.
OCIA: I'm up here Cali! OCIA: Uhm... OCIA: Nice pajamas?
A joke of course- Ocia was curious at this point wondering why she didn't bother flying around. Or, oh yeah. She was new to the whole Dreamer thing. He floated down with trained precision, his hair in a flurry around his almost luminous blue eyes. His feet touched the ground while Prospitians waved at him. He was a familiar figure here, after all. His eyes lit up as he stood in front of her and he wondered if he was blushing.
OCIA: So... OCIA: Welcome to Prospit. OCIA: I'm glad you woke up. OCIA: How was the trip over?

==> QW: Study friend. Sure, you could See without looking, but sometimes it was better to look. Like right now, when you were seeing Ocia for the very first time. But you quickly realize you're practically staring at him in his golden attire and blush. In response to the heat in your cheeks you avert your eyes and focus on Skaia above. CALI: Derse seems to be just as color coordinated as Prospit. CALI: Your friend seemed professional enough. CALI: But I don't trust him. CALI: Is that reasonable? CALI: Also CALI: Uh. CALI: Hi.

==>: OCIA: Hold Her Hand.
Wait what? His internal grin faltered as he heard a strange voice. This one was different- unlike that black voice, it was urging him to do something really embarrassing. And possible painful. But he kept his cool and pushed the voice away mentally. After doing it to the gods he could easily do it to some prick. And now she was talking about DD.
OCIA: Trust him? OCIA: I have no idea... OCIA: We don't talk much- OCIA: We're not literally befriended. OCIA: It's more like we are both resourceful. OCIA: But besides that, hello.
He hovered slightly above the ground, grinning in anticipation. He already had some ideas of the places he could show her.
OCIA: I know you just woke up... OCIA: Have you flown yet?
He held out an encouraging hand. They could fly together.

==> QW: Hold his hand. You would, but you're pretty sure that's something that he should initiate. Then again you've never been on a date before, so for all you knew that wasn't a thing. Best to just trust the movies in this case, as your understanding does not have anything on dating. Oh wait, he's offering his. Okay, so it has been initiated. You take his hand. CALI: Not yet. CALI: The Dignitary was waiting not far from where I woke up. CALI: And I took my time to take in the sights. CALI: And look into the Furthest Rings for you. CALI: But I know I can fly. CALI: I know a lot more here than I do awake. CALI: Which I know is because our dream-- CALI: Actually that's a topic for another time. CALI: So uh. CALI: I'm new to this dating thing. CALI: Do you know where we're going? CALI: Or is this the charming banter to make up for a lack of real content kind? CALI: Not that that is bad! CALI: I mean I'm just going by movies here. CALI: And I mean I've never really CALI: Met you CALI: So CALI: Lead the way, I guess.

==>: OCIA: Rise.
Pffft you can't rise dipshit you're not in your questbed. That goddamn voice.
The dark-haired prospit Dreamer ushered his form into the air, holding firmly onto his friend's hand. They both rose gently and he directed himself through the streets of Skaia. The Prospitians below smiled as they listed towards the Square. He laughed as she told him to lead.
OCIA: Witty banter... OCIA: Or a place to go. OCIA: Why can't it be both? OCIA: It's a lot like back home. OCIA: Except well... OCIA: The Prospitians won't try to mug anybody. OCIA: And their theatres are in black and white!
So old-timey and stylish. There were no better movies than those with class. He looked up to the moon that orbited Prospit; the towers that arced into the sky. Six of them... One of them being his own home. The chains connecting the moon were symbolic of how the Dreamers were connected to their fate, to Skaia. She had said that she'd looked into the sky. Into the Furthest Ring. And hadn't commented on the monstrosities. Stop worrying about all that. He pointed to a nearby restaurant.
OCIA: How about I get us dinner? OCIA: I can tell you about my adventure. OCIA: And you can tell me about yours.
He held out an encouraging hand. They could fly together.
