She learned hard and fast. She painted her hive with the blood of the weak until her hive became a shrine to the hemospectrum, filthy rustblood crimson at the bottom and glorious midnight indigo at the very top. She found the cult of the Mirthful Messiahs and was welcomed with open arms into the brother- and sisterhood, infected by the joyful work. Her unyielding loyalty to the Mother was matched only by the mirth that coursed through her veins like the beautiful miracle that was her blood. It was a miracle. The world was a miracle. Everything was miracles. Until that mother FUCKING GAME Ancestor: The SANGUINE ANOINTER was the final word when it came to the hemospectrum, second only to the Empress herself. With her perfect vision for hue, she could look at the seemingly identical blood of two trolls and rank one above the other. She could identify lowbloods and mutants by smell, and taste a troll‘s name in their blood. One of the greatest figures in the history of the church of the Mirthful Messiahs, the Empress herself rewarded her service by smearing a line of her own blood across her forehead. She came to be known among those who had the wicked knowing in them as the ANOINTED. It is also where Caegar keeps her journals. Further powers will be revealed as her story progresses. There is no soil on LOBAI, only vast consructs and continent-sized chunks of iron. Her Denizen, Hecate, slept in the center of LOBAI, curled around the world‘s heart, keeping it from beating. The oceans of blood dried and coagulated, and the engines that relied on it for power to feed the eagle consorts stopped. Caegar destroyed Hecate completely and set LOBAI‘s heart beating again, except this time in a way that separated the oceans by blood color.
