Never really traveling outside his lawnring due to the constant demand of keeping his lusus fed, he only ever really socialized with his "friends" through trollian, or other husktop games. He always wanted to try out FLARP like lots of other trolls his age, but Wolfmum never really ever let him out of the hive for fun, just to hunt. He's not very good at reading other people due to his shut-in lifestyle, but even without ever having actually met a lowblood, he knows he hates them; he hates what they stand for, all the hope they have, how dirty they are. Anything red, or even associated with warm colours, he'll do his damnedest to avoid (or wreck, if he has the chance). This hatred of lowbloods stems mostly from the tales of his ancestor, The Watchdog. Tales recorded, carved onto tablets handed down to him by Wolfmum, are the way he found out about her, heroic stories carved by her own hand. Personally charged with guarding and protecting the purity and the safety of all those in the blood castes above her, The Watchdog was to be the troll who, in conjunction with the mirthful messiahs, helped keep the low and highbloods separated, governed the creation of matesprit and kismistitudes between the castes, and also served as the top bodyguard of the late Empress. Of all the trolls she killed, every lowblood she smote, the most horrible part of her story was that she saw her job as an art. Single-handedly, she was forging each new caste, creating the next generation of highbloods that would inherit the world, that would live on the Alternia she left behind. With purples and blues, she painted the picture of her world's future, or atleast she tried to. [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px white;]home[/style] Living on the top floor of a small hive in the middle of nowhere, a tiny lawnring surrounded by dense forest, Strern was essentially trapped upstairs by his lusus, the inhabitant of the ground floor. Too large to leave the entry hall, Wolfmum only ever lets him leave to hunt for her in the forest. Upstairs, in his repiteblock, coloured pencil drawings cover just about every available surface. He's drawn many things, but generally the images are of wolves and their lowly prey. SA: ever. SA: no emoticons, SA: no messing around. [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px white;]symbol[/style] A large blue X, the same symbol The Watchdog used to mark the names of the trolls she hunted on her Great List. [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px white;]fetch modus[/style] Sketchbook modus, similar to the Pictionary modus used by Jade Harley. "Jade chose this Fetch Modus based on a strong whim from the mysterious ethers of democracy, which is a fancy way of saying that Andrew put it to a vote. Its cards are mossy green. When selected, this Fetch Modus spawns a Captchalogue Scribblepad. Drawing a nearby item on it results in the captchaloguing of that item. Even if the drawing is a meaningless scribble, the Scribblepad will associate it with an item. If the Captchaloguing of an item that is not nearby is attempted, a ghost image of it will be captchalogued instead. Ghost images are unusable but have the same Captchalogue codes as their real counterparts, enabling a Sburb player with access to alchemical equipment to create them. (And, theoretically, any item that the player can draw can be created.) It seems to have a bit of trouble identifying drawings of overly simple or overly complex things, such as Jade's Tangle Buddies and her Eclectic Bass." [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px white;]powers & skills[/style] ❧ Canine-like sense of smell, taught to him by his lusus ❧ Super stealthy, taught how to move silently and blend into shadow from hunting prey ❧ With nothing else to do but hunt, draw and waste time on his husktop, he's pretty good with technology [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px white;]medium[/style] Very flat and grey, the whole land is very simple, unremarkable... Plain black leaf-less trees are scattered about, draped with thick swaths of lace and tattered fabric. The ground is covered in thick layers of dust and, when the wind blows, blinding dust storms are common. All over the land there are large grey moths. They eat the fabric from the trees and the dust on the ground is from their wings; the trees need it in order to grow. In the center of the land, however, is a larger crater partially filled with lava in which Hephaestus has made his den. The heat of the lava and the flaming blacksmith himself have begun burning down the trees with their pure heat, igniting the dust that covers the ground and creating massive forest fires. [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px white;]sidequest[/style] Spread around the farthest outskirts of LODAL there are many different foreign types of tree, every one an individual. In order to re-grow the forests burnt down by Hephaustus, the player in this land must somehow find or create a tree that will grow fabric for the moths but, at the same time, be able to resist the heat and fire of the blacksmith god. | [atrb=width,150][atrb=valign,top][atrb=bgcolor,B9FC6F][atrb=style,color:252525; padding: 8px;][style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px #252525;]positive[/style] ❧ loyal ❧ creative ❧ brave ❧ adventurous ❧ protective [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px #252525;]negative[/style] ❧ judgemental ❧ stubborn ❧ violent ❧ socially awkward ❧ impulsive [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px #252525;]interests[/style] ❧ drawing [/style]❧ hunting, violence ❧ dogs, wolves ❧ horrible old husktop games ❧ highblood purity, superiority |
