The baby looked pretty chill, so she just up and adopted that chill baby, raising the little chick as her sis. She named her Robin, because Robin's a pretty chill name. Cael never begrudged the girl anything, even if she wasn't exactly the most attentive of big sisters. With a little girliechick to take care of, she had to go to school and get degrees and get an actual job, boring as it was. And with that job came a new house in a new city -- so Cael and Robin moved to Chicago, Illinois, the most boring place on Earth. Officially, Cael was a lawyer, but she delegated most of her work to her underlings, and spent a lot of time PROFESSIONALLY EXTREME ROLLERBLADING. She also strifed with Robin quite a bit, but their strifes were always pretty silly. I mean, rollerblades vs. books? Really? Through it all, though, Cael was always as attentive as she could possibly be, and when Robin finally fessed up about being transgender, she was as supportive as any guardian should be. Ever since her baby came flying into her life, Cael had been saving up money for anything she would need to take care of Robin -- so she had quite a large sum set aside, enough to pay for surgery and hormone therapy But something else changed too, and Cael would not tolerate it. Ross had been as outgoing and cheerful as his Sistah once, but as the years passed, the boy became more and more withdrawn, which was absolutely goshdarned unacceptable. So she messed with -- messes with -- her Brah, a lot. She wants to draw him out, make him have fun, dangit. He's a kid. Kids are supposed to have fun. [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px white;]home[/style] ❧ Between lawyering and EXTREME ROLLERBLADING, Cael made enough cash to buy a hotel room for her and Ross to live in. It's a pretty fancy-pants room, made up of two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a living room of sorts. Cael's room is plastered with posters of famous EXTREME ROLLERBLADERS and also GNARLY SURFERS and photos of AWESOME FRIENDS FROM HAWAII, and she has at least a half-dozen pairs of roller blades strewn about the place. She has a futon that never enters bed form, a desk to keep all her lawyer shit on, a closet to keep all her lawyer clothes in, a dresser to keep all her other clothes in, and a tiny TV sitting on the floor. She keeps an N64 hooked up to it, and she has a stack of cartridges taller than the TV just kind of sitting next to it. A corner of Cael's room is dedicated to blade, skate and board repair, with a bench full of tools and a wall full of projects to keep her busy if she feels so inclined to work. [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px white;]typing style[/style] ❧ FA: she doesn't capitalize aaaaaanything except sometimes names, but her capitalization is erratic and dependent on her mood FA: she hardly ever ends her sentences in periods except when she wants to be SRS BSNS FA: when she feels like being dramatic, which is aaaaaall the time, she uses letters in groups of six, because that's how many first place EXTREME ROLLERBLADING prizes she's won!!!!!! FA: she uses a lot of exclamation points! but the number varies unless she's SUPER excited, in which case she uses six!!!!!! FA: she calls all of her friends bro and sis, even if she doesn't really like them that much! FA: she can be pretty spaztastic, and she keyboard smashes when she's wound up or anxious FA: like this dkashldadaunfoengabluh! [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px white;]symbol[/style] ❧ Cael has a pair of goggles in a nice shade of salmon on her shirt. [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px white;]fetch modus[/style] ❧ Cael uses the Fixit! Modus, which makes her literally fix things to retrieve her items. Each object she captchalogues is stored in a little box that is locked up, and the locking mechanism is busted -- she has to fix the mechanism to get it open. She's good at it by now, but it still takes her a good ten to twenty minutes to access anything. If she uses her flashstepping, though, it's more like ten to twenty seconds. [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px white;]powers & skills[/style] ❧ Anything fighting-related! While Cael's primary strifing tool is her skatekind, she can also use fistkind, toolkind, and boardkind, though she rarely uses any of the three but fistkind. ❧ Anything physical! She's fast, she's strong, and she's ridiculous at parkour, especially on rollerblades. ❧ Flashstepping. C'mon, what's a guardian without a flashstep?
