As far back as he can remember, he's been working. First in school then, after the birth of his daughter, in his parents' little knickknack shop in the inner city. Since they died, he's been running it all on his own. Sure, it might mean Yubi doesn't get a whole lot of his attention while he's working all the time but everything he does, he does for her. Having dropped out of high school when she was born, he didn't really have much choice but to work in the shop; there's not much you can do in the city without a high school diploma. Always preoccupied with his daughter, with his work, Shun never really found a chance to follow the changes in technology as he grew older. Perfectly fine with old technology, things that "make sense", he's completely lost when it comes to anything that could even possibly be considered modern. Especially with computers, he has absolutely no idea how to operate them but covers it up, pretending the English is what's confusing him. When you're an immigrant, perfectly fluent in English, that can turn on an obvious and heavy accent, atleast you can sometimes use your background and homeland as an excuse. [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px white;]home[/style] Living in the little apartment over top of the store, the Frances' home isn't anything too special, really. Crowded and frankly a bit messy, it's chock full of strange oriental treasures that use to belong to Shun's parents; cabinets, trunks, boxes, full of strange items only he really seems to know the use for. The apartment has a little entryway at the top of the stairs that lead up from the store below, a living room with an ancient "bunny-earred" television, a small kitchen, a little bathroom and three small bedrooms. His bedroom looks like the rest of the house, over-crowded with furniture, every available surface covered in little idols and figurines, jars of herbs and strange good luck charms. The top three items are easy to retrieve and can be withdrawn at any time, in any order. The only difficulty with this modus is that large, heavy items must be stored at the very bottom of the trunk otherwise they'll crush and launch every item below them out. In this way, it's a bit difficult to fetch heavy items from the bottom but easy to weaponize if many small items are put in and then something heavy is stored. In order to retrieve something from the bottom of the trunk, farther down that three cards, everything overtop of it must be removed.
