He's spent a majority of his life underneath the sea and has had very little actual contact with other Trolls, especially not land dwelling trolls. Because of this he can be a bit socially awkward, the most he really knows about the world above the sea is what he has read in the books that have fallen to the sea, from the land, and into his hands. Some of them are old, and some of them are relatively new. The only concept he has completely down is the whole quadrant thing. He's had plenty of romance novels fall into the depths. He and his lusus are very close, they kind of have to be. Before Tantri discovered the wonder that was a husktop, his only contact to anything with a brain was his lusus and the fish beings out there. They would talk for hours on end, his lusus would scold him whenever Tantri would do something rash, and console him whenever Tantri got to lonely (a rare occurrence since he didn't quite understand the concept of having company). When he did discover the husktop, it didn't take him long to find a mess of friends. He spends a lot of his waking hours talking to them, hoping he isn't being too annoying. Just after he turned 6 sweeps old he started leaving the sea. It started when a pesky fish had stolen one of his favorite arm-bands and swam directly up. Bent on catching the fish, Tantri swam as fast as he could and soon found himself a few feet below the surface. In a spur of the moment action, he soon found himself bobbing above the waves. He loved the feeling of the air on his skin, and he would have stayed out longer but he needed to return. Since then he's been going up and surfacing as often as possible. Tantri's ancestor is, oddly enough, not the Emperor of Alternia, but a close relative of the current Empress, most likely the brother. He is known as The Mindless, for his blind following of orders from the Empress. It could have been an order to kill others, or even himself, and he would do it. Because the Empress has no known heir at this time, it seems that Tantri could possibly inherit the throne. It's not set in stone, but it is possible. [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px white;]home[/style] ❧ Tantri lives in a palace-like hive that he helped design himself. It's very florescent and looks to be shades of anywhere from blue to an opal color. It was meant to mimic the look of a pearl. The palace is underwater and is surrounded by hot-air geysers that pump boiling water constantly in a near force-field like manner. Only Tantri and his lusus know how to get in and out without hurting themselves. The inside of the palace is lite well by bright glow in the dark fish that like to swar around. There are so many rooms, sometimes Tantri will forget where his own recooperacoon is, or maybe even get lost in a room he barely knew existed. Most of the time he manages to meander his way back to the main rooms, but other times his lusus had to come and find him. [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px white;]typing style[/style] ❧ RT: He types rather formally, with proper punctuation and capitalization. Occasionally using big words when it would be simpler to use other ones. RT: He sometimes seems a little bit stuffy as he never uses contractions, but he really does not mean it. ^-^ RT: He does use emoticons though, the most common is a heart at the end of a sentence. <3 RT: HOWEVR WHEN HE GETS ANGRY OR EXITED HE TNDS TO FRGET LETERS AN PUNCTUATON RT: He does not roleplay very much, but if it serves to make a point he could do something along the lines of *gasps* or *laughs* RT: If he does not understand something, he might just give a RT: o-O RT: In response [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px white;]symbol[/style] ❧ This is his symbol [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px white;]fetch modus[/style] ❧ GO FISH: He has to match two cards together to get his items. Not only does he not have all of the cards, but neither does his partner. Often enough he has to "go fish" and draw many more cards from his deck until he or his partner (he's not sure who this is, probably some creation of the sylladex) gets the matching card. [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px white;]powers & skills[/style] ❧ - He is very skilled with his Trident, along with trident-shaped daggers. He's been practicing against dummies and large fish that came wandering near his home. - He's pretty good at reading a situation between two people, as long as it doesn't include himself (when it does, he's as clueless as a door nail). This might have come from all of those stupid romance novels he's read. - He is really good a puzzles and word games, how else was he going to pass the time? [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px white;]medium[/style] ❧ The land of Grass and Gale is a land full of hills and high grasses. A constant wind blows through the grass and makes it move in wave-like forms. In the places surrounding Tantri's hive, the grass is healthy and green (if appropriate to the kind of grass). The further away from his hive, though, the more dead and dreary looking the grass is. This is due to lack of water throughout the land.The only source of water for a very long way is the large moat that has been placed outside of Tantri's hive. At one point it use to have plenty of ponds and freshwater for the consorts, a species of topaz colored mice, to drink and for the grass to remain healthy. Without healthy grass, the mice aren't able to eat very well and are beginning to die off. This happened because of the whims of Typheus, whose wind blew the water to evaporation, or chased it away.
