You aren't exactly good with numbers. You didn't deal directly with them in your first job, but you'll get to that shortly. Like.... after this next sentence. You do remember, though, that you were created on the streets of Derse. You quickly found yourself a job at a large accounting company where your primary task was to retrieve and store files for other workers, and keep all those files organized when you put them away. Apparently most of the other organizers didn't care nearly as much as you did. It irked you when you watched them put folders and books into any old spot. You spent, well.... ALL of your time putting things in their proper place. You just couldn't stand it otherwise! Your bosses were angry that you weren't helping with other tasks you were apparently supposed to do, but none of those seemed nearly as important as making sure everything was easy to find. They fired you in the end. How ungrateful! They'd see how hard it is to find things now that you're gone! ❧ Striving to do better (and not get fired again), you got a job at a nearby library. Your job was similar to the one you had at the accounting company so you found yourself at ease with returning books to their proper shelves, which luckily were kept much more orderly than at your old job. You were a great librarian, and always made sure everyone put their book back in the correct place. You genuinely enjoyed helping check out books, as long as you weren't distracted by incorrect placements of things. One time you even reorganized the whole library because it started to not sit well with you. Visitors and your bosses enjoyed your new arrangement and were promoted to head librarian and given a hefty raise. It was a modest apartment that you always kept perfectly clean. You do seem to own a lot of books, though, which are distributed throughout your entire apartment. You just hate messes!
