In fact it might be considered a miracle that she even knows people, even if it is through the internet. She was raised by her lusus, Snake Mom. Snake Mom was not a nurturing lusus but the lowest of standards. She was a lusus that believed love made you weak and could not be compelled to let Manila weaker than she already was. The mental abuse started from a young age, Snake Mom refused to let Manila around other trolls, telling her it was because she was a weak disgrace. That coupled with the fact that when she was around other trolls she was treated and told she was useless because of her blood color. That coupled with constant insults have taught Manila that she was useless. Only recently has the physical abuse, in the form of putting her through tasks that her body can't handle, started. Such as forcing Manila to run until she passes out or lift weights that equal or exceed her own body weight. Snake Mom thinks it will all help her in the end. Manila does not try to resist. She is a troll conditioned to accept that she is nothing. As such she doesn't protest when she is pushed past her body's limits or insulted for something she was born as. All her thoughts agree with the outside world. She could not stand up for herself if she had to. She complies to the blood caste system and will only agree when called lowblood scum. The fact that she is alive is only due to her ability to run and not be seen. She says that she does not need an escape, due to her really being nothing. However it is all lies because she does have an escape, books. Due to not being let out much she doesn't have many books. But the ones she does have she has read many times over while escaping to a different world where her worthlessness doesn't matter. Not all of her books are stories though. About half of her books are on math and science. But even those take her to a far away place. Even more so they have made her extremely smart in those areas. Every problem in her math and science books are done and done correctly. Math has become her favorite thing. Her height is around 5'4. Her outfit is pretty basic. She wears a pair of black jeans with black converse. Obviously she wears a dark grey shirt with her symbol. Her shirt used to be a long sleeve, but due to her sleeves usually being to long on her she has ripped all the sleeves down to short sleeves. Her hair is long and goes to her lower back and has a slight wave. For the most part she wears it in two pigtails though. Her ancestor was The Assassin. She was not seen by most people and was not a social person by choice. Like Manila she was very good at hiding herself, but used it for a different purpose. She was usually hired by lowbloods to kill other lowbloods or midbloods. She was known for not being seen and not having mercy. The Assassin would kill someone because they looked at her wrong. And she was never seen doing it. It is unknown if she died. She was just one day no longer around the very few people who actually knew her. [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px white;]home[/style] ❧ Her hive is no where really. It is in the middle of a forest with not much of anything around but trees. It's a decent sized hut on the floor of the forest. On the inside it isn't much, over all it is 4 rooms. A large room for Snake Mom. A smaller room as a living room, though it is usually used as more of a workout room for Snake Mom and Manila, when Snake Mom decides it. A bathroom of course. And finally a small room for Manila. Her room just has a bed and a book shelf. The book shelf is small at only about 10 books wide and with 5 shelves. The bed has books and a laptop on it. The colors of the room are all black and brown, brown bed, walls, and bookshelf, black floor and sheets. Not that she minds. Her room is hardly ever noticed once she is reading. Then divide that by the number of spaces you have in your modus currently. The remainder is which space in your modus it will go. If there is no remainder, you don't get the object. She is also extremely stealthy, it is not used for stealing or mischeif but to escape others and she is extermely good at it. She is also a speed reader, she can read pages in minutes and understands everything almost perfectly. [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px white;]medium[/style] ❧ The Land of Sand and Locks LOSAL is a giant sand dune. Nothing can be seen in any direction but sand. Oh and the cages that you must walk through. The entire world is a maze with cages with checkpoints every 20 feet or so that make you pass though a gate. Some of the gates are always locked, some are missing. However if you get caught in an area with locked gates on each side you better think of an escape plan or plan your death. Almost no one is alive on LOSAL anymore with pretty much all consorts being trapped. Dead rabbits are in about 1 of every 10 cages. Lyssa seems to lock and unlock all the gates as she pleases please. Which can trap someone for minutes days or years. Lyssa seems to prefer the latter. [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px white;]sidequest[/style] ❧ Manila's side quest is she must destroy all the locks in LOSAL. This will prove to be troublesome for her such that she not only has to destroy a huge amount of objects, but she also has to stand up for herself against Lyssa.
