[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true]==> Admit you might be rather narcissistic.You can easily admit that, and you see no problem in doing so. You are of worthy blood and skill to add such a trait to your repertoire. Besides it is a little more than expected from your caste, and the last thing you want to do is stick out like an injured appendage. Which is why you can excuse any strange behavior from yourself. Like, for example, visiting a red blooded acquaintance in broad night time. It's not as though anyone would question you to begin with, but you guess it is sort of scandalous for a seadweller to go this far for a single troll so low on the hemospectrum. You are sure to be talked about for sweeps to come. ==> Narrowly dodge troll.Your thoughts are thrown askew when you have to resort moving out of the way of a brown blooded troll. You can feel your protein sack churn in disgust at this revelation; a brown blood. You might as well be bowing to dirt. The troll in question is quick to take in your gills and look before scampering away with half attempted apologies. You only scowl and break away from the crowd that was beginning to form. Well, break away would imply force, the trolls circling all but flow away from you as your move. ==> Lament over the existence hive clusters.You proceed to do so as you near your destination. You cannot fathom why some trolls move into hives so close to one another, or even build another next to one. It's a disgusting pot of blood mixing you don't like to consider. You need your space, your territory, to yourself. The last troll that attempted to live on the outskirts of your living space was culled long ago. ==> Enter Dahlia's shop.You do so with flourish, entering the small little psuedo hive. However you don't immediately catch sight of the troll you were looking for, so you have a brief moment to yourself before she makes her appearance. Your visual stumps scour the shop for anything new or important with a curiosity you never managed to tame, and you find yourself flitting here and there with no regards of sovereignty. You don't find anything that grabs your attention longer than a fleeting second so you decide to make your presence known. [style=width: 350px; background: #eeeeee; border: 1px dashed #808080; color: 6a006a; font-weight: bold; font-family: courier; font-size: 12px; text-align: left; padding: 15px;]NEREID: Dahlia darling, yyour favorite client has blessed yyou with her presence~ NEREID: Do make yyourself known now for I have quite a few new ideas I'm deciding to share with yyou~ |
==> Contemplate relationship with lowblood.Yes, well, you would rather not. In layman's terms you decide to bless her and her shop with your patronage and cut back on any cull threats while she serves you. Well, provides you with a service in making clothes. You would never submit yourself to doing something so low and homely after all.[/style]

>Dahlia: Greet your favorite Parton You don’t prefer terms of favoritism but Miss Pomano is your best customer. It isn’t often you are graced with a patron so high on the spectrum. You are rather fortunate, so fortunate. You are happy that she buys clothing from your shop. You feel rather special. But enough about that you’re trying to match material for a new scarf you were working on. You finally got some rare silver cashmere, wasn’t easy to pry from the jade bloods but you convinced them your work was good enough to use this material. You sighed; sometimes you wished you were a jade blood. You feel like you’d fit in much better in that caste than your own. You are folding the material when you hear your customer’s voice. == > Go greet your number one customer [style=width: 450px; padding: 10 25; background: #171717; border: 1px dashed black; font-size: 14px; font-family: courier new; font-weight: bold; color: 36D1AB; text-align: left;]
DAHLIA: +oc Oh he//o Miss Ponamo. Wonderfu/ it is, it’s very nice to see you again. DAHLIA: +oc How may I serve you this night, highb\ood?
You don’t mind having to be polite to a highblood. It’s not like you’re forced to, you’re rather happy to show how grateful you are she is here. You set the silver cashmere on the counter and walked over to the sea dweller. You bowed slightly once you were face to face. Oh maybe she would be delighted to join you and your new game you have.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true]==> Watch the redblood appear.You do often find yourself wondering where she pops out of sometimes, the hive is only so large after all. But you can't bother to find yourself caring that much, you did come here with a set purpose and while you have all the time in Alternia as of now, you would rather not waste it flopping about on land. Land has always been quite the dreadful experience in your worthy opinion. ==> Address Dahlia.You smirk a little at her formal attitude in your presence, glad that your repeat appearances have done little to make her too familiar with you. [style=width: 350px; background: #eeeeee; border: 1px dashed #808080; color: 6a006a; font-weight: bold; font-family: courier; font-size: 12px; text-align: left; padding: 15px;]NEREID: Hmm, likewise Dahlia~ NEREID: And I have a couple of sketches and ideas I would like to run byy yyou~ NEREID: I've been feeling myy outfits have been a bit too, drearyy, as of late~ NEREID: Nothing a bit of color won't fix I'm sure~ NEREID: Oh and myy FLARP uniform mayy have been damaged again~ |
==> Retrieve clothing items.You get your damaged FLARP uniform from your sylladex, answering the easy and assumed scenario your fetch modus presents. Of course you can't really blame it, you were bound to run out of different scenarios eventually. While you are at it you also pull out a couple of sketches, both appearing in the air with an audible pop before landing in your hands. You idly place the sketches on the counter and re arrange the uniform so that you are holding it in both hands. ==> Assess the damage.You don't think it's too bad, even if it's in twice the amount of pieces it was to begin with and peppered with enough holes for you to place all your digits in with more leftover. Of course you are not the aspiring seamstress so your worthwhile opinion is probably best kept to yourself. That also meets your once-a-night-do-a-nice-thing quota. Good on you. ==> Explain how this happened.NEREID: I was partnered against a landdweller with quite the affinityy for explosives and fast moving projectiles and that's reallyy all there is to sayy on the matter~ NEREID: Are yyou capable of repairing it, or perhaps yyou think it best to start from scratch?~ You quirk an eyebrow awaiting her response on the matter.[/style]

== > Asses the damage as well Oh my you don’t think you’ve seen this many holes in one uniform. Not even the moth lusi make this many holes that quickly. Oh explosives huh, hmm this gives you an idea. You just got some shipment of a ‘special’ material. It would be amazing to test it out on a FLARP uniform. Of course you have to ask the highblood, you wouldn’t to make a new uniform out of this material and you promise it work and it doesn’t. You wouldn’t want to face the consequences to your action. [style=width: 450px; padding: 10 25; background: #CDCDCD; border: 1px dashed black; font-size: 14px; font-family: courier new; font-weight: bold; color: 36D1AB; text-align: left;] DAHLIA: +oc We\\ I can repair this as new, however the stitchings wi/\ be noticab\e. It wou\d seem rather distasteful/ if a highb\ood as yourse/f wa\ked around in a ‘used’ /ooking uniform. I wou/d be more than happy too remake a new uniform. DAHLIA:+oc A/so, I \ike to bring up I have a very very rare and specia\ material/ that is very difficu\t to get. I managed to get my hands on some polarized titanium. It’s a material\ that is high\y densed but if used correct/y, your uniform wi/\ be ten times stronger than norma\ stee\. I wou\d be more than happy to incorporate this material in your uniform. However, this stuff has not been tested so, in fact you wou/d be the first. The worst that can happen is we// your uniform wi\\ appear as it is now. But I ask you permission to use this into your uniform you wi/\ be we\/ protected if it works. DAHLIA: +oc As for your designs they are most wonderful/ a \itt\e co/or wi\/ go a /ong way. Some b\ues and maybe greens may he/p maybe a /itt\e ye\\ow, to bring that contrast to your b/ood co\or. But this is up to you of course, I don’t ever dare think of te//ing you what you shou\d wear. I can on/y suggest and do what you ask of me.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true]==> Debate over new material.You slowly weigh the options presented to you. You usually find yourself sticking with what you know; change was always a double sided knife shoved down your protein chute. But you honestly can't find the terrible part of this plan. It was as she said, the worst is it works exactly as your old costume worked and feels slightly different. That is to say, not at all. You throw the ruined attire onto the counter, deciding you wont be bringing it back if it's past help. ==> Respond.You lean on the counter slightly and look back to Dahlia. [style=width: 350px; background: #eeeeee; border: 1px dashed #808080; color: 6a006a; font-weight: bold; font-family: courier; font-size: 12px; text-align: left; padding: 15px;]NEREID: Well, consider yyourself a silver tongued angel as yyou have convinced me~ NEREID: I just hope there are no detrimental effects when the myysteryy material comes in contact with water, as that is where I reside~ ;] |
==> Pick yellow.You are, not very sure you can deal with yellow much anymore. And you would rather not wallow in stupid emotions over why that is. You would much prefer even the lowly rust colors over it. NEREID: And I'll trust yyour judgement over which colors would suit me best, it would be a nice surprise for a change~ NEREID: Though I do suggest yyou stayy away from anyy form of that grotesque color yyellow~ [/style]

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true]==> Nod along.You sometimes like to debate over whether Dahlia likes the sound of her own voice or if she is just extremely long winded. Of course you have known her for awhile so her meek like appearance is something to be taken at face value, but there's something about her you can't exactly figure out. You decide that's merely because you haven't given it enough thought, you shouldn't anyway because she's just a rustblood, and cut your thoughts shorts. She's giving you that look of uncertainty, you know that means she's going to ask you a question. One you have a feeling you won't like. ==> Respond.You decide she's kind of left you hanging, what with her question a request to ask one. You are a little annoyed from it, and you are sure to show that on your face, but shrug it off. She can't delay much longer you don't think. [style=width: 350px; background: #eeeeee; border: 1px dashed #808080; color: 6a006a; font-weight: bold; font-family: courier; font-size: 12px; text-align: left; padding: 15px;]NEREID: yyes, well yyou've alreadyy asked me two things now byy myy count, so yyou might as well get the intended question out of the wayy~ NEREID: Third time's the charm no doubt so go on, do share what's on yyour thinkpan~ |

== > Inquire the Sea dweller [style=width: 450px; padding: 10 25; background: #171717; border: 1px dashed black; font-size: 14px; font-family: courier new; font-weight: bold; color: 36D1AB; text-align: left;]
DAHLIA: +oc We\\ a few weeks back, I had found a rather quaint bazaar not too far from here. They were se\/ing rather exotic antiquities and I happened a/ong inside. And something was pu\\ing me towards a specific object. And When I found it, I fe/t like it was ca\/ing me. The merchant of the curio stand exp/ained to me that in the box I he\d was a game. DAHLIA: +oc He said it was nothing \ike what is p/ayed tonight in this day and season. He said it was much more cha\/enging and the rewards were \imit/ess. He said this game would change A/ternia itse/f. He said the game only be p\ayed when I am joined by e\even others who seem capable enough to p/ay. DAHLIA: +oc I know you /ove F\ARPING and all. And the merchant told me that this is exactly like F\ARP but far more better than you can imagine. So I’d figured being a highb\ood, a sea dweller, and an avid F/ARP p\ayer, you’d be a perfect candidate for the game. So What I ask is if you would \ike to join my team and play this game with me?
You waited timidly for a response. You prepared yourself should she say no. She’s a sea dweller still, even though she plays FLARP. So what makes you think she was going to stop everything to play this game? Well you didn’t know, but it never hurt to ask. This seems to be the appropriate path to take, and you have a feeling asking her first rather than having someone else invite her is much better.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true]==> Shut her up already.You do feel like you need to shove something down her protein chute if only in a means of self defense. She is bombarding you with wave after wave of some stupid little story you really don't care for. Usually you can get a word in edge wise, but this time you feel as though every time she's ever taken in a breathe of air was for show. She definitely isn't doing any breathing now. Regardless you decide against assaulting her or just leaving. You doubt you would get what you came here for done if you did any of those. She would probably be a wriggler about it. ==> Sigh.You do so, making sure Dahlia realizes that while you are a patient troll by any standards, you can get irritated quickly. You leave your perch against the uncomfortable counter and pace. Specifically you pace circles around the burgundy blood. You find most trolls get uncomfortable when you are behind them. You don't blame them. ==> Sum it up.You put on a little smirk, puffing your chest out internally. [style=width: 350px; background: #eeeeee; border: 1px dashed #808080; color: 6a006a; font-weight: bold; font-family: courier; font-size: 12px; text-align: left; padding: 15px;]NEREID: So in as little words as I can muster at this time, yyou want me to playy a game yyou found?~ NEREID: Specificallyy with yyou and yyour 'team'?~ |

== > Feel rather uncomfortable Mission accomplished. The sea dweller has achieved this goal for you. She is pacing in circles around you as you speak. You try not to let her deter you from your speech. You need her to understand all the details of this request. You want her to make a decision based on how much data and how persuasive you can be. However you’re not the best so you’ll try, as you must. You feel that she has to be apart of this or else, something bad will happen to her. You begin to flinch a bit when she stands behind you, no troll in his or her right mind would allow another troll to stand behind them. You knew she wouldn’t attack you, but you still felt hesitant. You turn slowly to face her. [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true]==> Incoming: verbal assault.You are a little content that Dahlia couldn't have her back to you, it is a rather nice feeling to be threatening, but it does little to quell the annoyance you feel at her talking again. Of course you kind of set yourself up for this one since you asked her to convince you in the first place. You can't really blame her then, well you shouldn't anyway. It probably won't stop you considering. ==> Look unimpressed.You are sure that's how you tend to look when confronted with landdwellers, but you put extra effort into looking remarkably unimpressed. It really suits your mood with what has been revealed. You don't see yourself playing some wriggler game with a bunch of cull bait. You don't have a good enough relationship in either directions to do much past briefly considering playing with Dahlia. You are not sure what she expects from you, especially with how she keeps going on about false promises. ==> Decline: you have no time for such tomfoolery.You have no idea what that means but the thought of declining makes you surprisingly uncomfortable and causes the words to catch in your throat. You feel as though somethings pressing against the inside of your head outwards. It's not something you are enjoying in the slightest. You are usually in tune with your subconscious, so the fact that you can't pin this feeling either is even more aggravating. You decide to neither appease it or irritate it. ==> Reply.Why not. You mouth turns into a crescent, a grin that's more predatory than anything else and you grab her chin. Not necessarily forceful, but you aren't know for being gentle. Your thumb idly rubs against those startling scars and you make eye contact in a way to fluster her. NEREID: What if it was a purple blood preaching to yyou about how the mirthful messiahs shine through this little game~ NEREID: Miracles are miracles after all~ NEREID: But surelyy yyou wouldn't buyy the things then~ NEREID: Or, perhaps yyou didn't learn?~ NEREID: yyou reallyy shouldn't put yyour trust in other trolls Dahlia~ NEREID: Theyy might watch yyou get horriblyy disfigured, theyy might be doing the mutilating, or theyy might sell you a shittyy game for kicks because yyou're so vunerable~ NEREID: Hopefullyy yyou are aware of that~ [/style]

== > Feel even more uncomfortable than before Now it's far worse than before. It's really difficult to keep a charade of calm when a sea dweller is pretty much all in your face and is touching your face. Well not your face, just your scars. You felt rather sick in the stomach. [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true]==> Be swayed by the solid rebuttal.You aren't swayed nor are you sure that's any kind of defense. This all is a load of nonsense as far as you're concerned. An old hornless troll or an alien. Neither of those are plausible outcomes for the rules that are enforced on Alternia. You decide that Dahlia is out of her think pan and that this is all some crazy hallucination she conjured. It would explain why she is so fervent in her defense. You let out another long winded sigh and release your grasp on the redblood. This has gone on quite long enough. ==> Humor the troll.You have no reason to do this so you really don't want to. Yet you know you will, and you decide to blame this on the uncomfortable feeling that plagues you when mention of this game rather than anything else. [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true]==> Debate whether or not you will actually play this game.You would actually rather set it aflame the moment you get your claws on it, but there's that inkling, that strange feeling digging into your spine. You still have a sinking feeling about all this. That day will be too early for your liking. ==> Store discs to Sylladex.You do so after giving the discs a once over. In hindsight you should have realized that was bad placement because with your fetch modus the second you go to forget about them they would fling into existence.
