She really didn’t like taking the bus home. It smelled, it was loud, and more often than not she tripped trying to get off of it. Fortunately no one ever payed enough attention to Dian to watch her fall off. Nope, she were about as noticeable as a shadow on a cloudy day. Di was perfectly fine with that, she likes the way she could drift around through the school, be quiet wherever she went, and knew it didn’t matter at all. Di figured she could disappear and no one would really notice.
That never bothered her.
She had enough friends online to keep yourself busy. A bunch of them to be exact, and they all made those dull 8 hours of boredom worth it.
She also had her dad. Sure, he was often out of the house working and busy doing whatever it was, but he was still important to her. He taught her her first language, made sure she lived well (despite the fact Di was pretty sure she wasn’t related to him), and did a lot for her in general. He even made her little model airplanes, which all sat proudly on shelves or were strong from the ceiling. The only thing she ever wished she could have more of, was free time with him. It seemed to be so rare.
Dian walked through the door of her apartment. “Hey! Dad are you there? I’m home!”
She put her bags down near the table and started to unpack her homework when she didn’t hear a response. She might as well get started while she had the chance and patience.
((Pardon my lack of patience/template/good muse))

>Cass: Be asleep You are already asleep, you were all day. You went to work only to be told you could go home. They finally value you at your work place that they actually give you days off here and there. That was good if this happens more often you can actually spend time with Dian. You rarely spend time with her, which you gravely regret. There are a lot of things she really needs and you can't let her go without. This responsibility is for you and you alone. You were fast asleep until you heard the door. You awoke immediately, you thought your brothers may have found you once again. You couldn't afford to move to another state right now. You relaxed when you heard Dian's voice. You crawled out of bed and stretched your back. You looked at the clock, you've been asleep for ten hours. Best nap you ever had in months. You decided to go downstairs to see Dian. She'd be surprised to see you home for once. =====> Greet your only daughter also known as your pride and joy You hold tight to your balance as you trudge out to the living room. You rub the sleep out of your eyes and let out a loud yawn. You walked into the living room and turned to face her directly. CASS: هيه ليست لدي مشهد لالتهاب العيون. مرحبا بك في بيتك يا حبيبي. (Heh aren't I a sight for sore eyes. Welcome home darling.)

You had only been unpacking for a few seconds when she heard her father's native tongue. You wouldn't have expected anything different since they both mainly spoke it around the house. Unfortunately, English had always been the better of your two languages. It always taken you a couple of seconds to process what your dad said after going a whole day speaking and listening to English. Sometimes you admit you think you misunderstand what he's saying, like right now as he misused a common saying. However you have a feeling that you are right, and he know exactly what he's saying. Sometimes your dad can't help but make you smile. ==> Respond DIAN: نعم، لأن عيني هي قرحة منها هنا. هل تنام جيدا؟ (yes, because my eyes are the sore ones here. Did you sleep well?)
[/div] You completely forget about your homework, and your not-the-best day at school. You love the small amounts of time that you get with your dad.
