He's fine with dying without making a mark because, honestly, what's even the point? Everyone's going to be the same thing in the end. Dead. But, don't get him wrong, Leipus isn't about to go giving up on life any time soon. He just doesn't see the point of trying to impress or live up to anyone else's expectations. After sweeps of ridicule from fellow trolls, he's learned to not give a shit what anyone else thinks, as long as he's happy with who he is and what he is doing. And he is. He is perfectly happy doing nothing. But what exactly does this nothing entail? Well, most of the time, it goes like this. Leipus gets up early, just before it is dark, and whips himself up a nice, protein rich smoothie. His vegan lifestyle coupled with his chronic sickness requires he drink these quite a lot, as well as eat a lot of fruit, beans, and vegetables. But let's derail for a second. One of the most definable characteristics of Leipus is the fact that, despite his blood color, he is constantly sick; some days worse than others. No one's been able to determine why, although the most common theory is that he's just highly allergic to his lusus, a large jackalope creature named Sir Bouncington of Cadbury, although he usually just call him Bounce (shut up. you were young. it seemed like a cool name then). However, even if that was the case and he were allergic, he would never admit it. He'd just go into denial and continue to suffer through the constant mucus dripping from his nose and occasionally spells where he can't breath. He loves his lusus way to much to leave him for something as trivial as his health. As for the rest of the day...it varies. Every other day he slips on his over-sized turtleneck and venture outside to collect the fruits, veggies, and herbs he has growing out in the yard. He'll then organize them and, if he's feeling it, make himself something delicious. Then he'll probably tidy up the hive a bit, maybe pop in a movie or two he hasn't seen in a while before hopping on his hivetop and surfing the web. Every once in a while he'll have someone pester him, but he usually not the one to start conversations unless he needs something. And every once in a while, when his nose is dry enough he doesn't need a tissue every few minutes, he'll hop on his lusus's back and take a long ride through the Alternian wilderness. It can get quite thrilling too, especially when Bounce decides to go full speed through the trees. He's gotten one or two black eyes from getting slapped in the face with low hanging branches. ❧ the LAMISTER -- Leipus's ancestor used to be a full blown criminal...at least in the eyes of the Highbloods. Despite the teal color blood, he was hardly a civil servant, and spent most of his days thieving from various highblood homes and businesses. He was quite good at it too, rarely getting seen, let alone caught. He was a regular thorn in the side of the Empress and her underlings. In fact, it was often rumored he had a red crush on her, since he would often appear where she was and risk his life by stealing from her. But, he was always just slippery enough to get away. However, despite all that, the LAMISTER was still about justice. He would often pull a troll Robin Hood, and give the items he stole to suffering lowbloods. It usually consisted of food stuffs and currency however, since he destroyed any item that could be traced back to the thieving and get himself or the lowblood he gave the item to culled. He eventually was forced to commit suicide by jumping off a cliff into the rocky water below after being cornered by a group of the Empress's lackies. While his body was never found, one could only assume he perished. [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px white;]home[/style] ❧ Leipus lives in this really cool hive built into the side of a cliff. Seriously. It's pretty fucking awesome to look at. From the outside, in you're standing at the bottom of the cliff and looking up, all you can see if this huge window cut out of the cliff side. Thankfully for Leipus though, it's pretty out of the way, so he doesn't have to worry about people staring in at him through at window all day long. He usually enters from the top of the cliff, the hatch that leads down into his hive surrounded by various patches fruit, vegetables, and herbs which he grows in his abundant amount of spare time. However, he can enter from the bottom as well, but he usually doesn't have much purpose being down there since it's really just a forest. On the inside, his hive is pretty neat and ordinary. Leipus tries his best to keep it looking presentable, but a few articles of clothing or used tissues might be lying around here or there. It is haphazardly furnished with most of the sofas and chairs looking very old and worn, but also extremely comfortable. There is also disinfectant spray everywhere, almost so that it's always an arm's length away, and his hive reeks of artificial lilacs because of it. His room is a different story though, and it's obvious he lets himself be comfortable in there. While it isn't a complete mess, it's definitely a step up from the rest of the hive, mostly because of his stuffed animals lying all over the place. Oh yeah, Leipus loves those things. They're just so cute! He has a good twenty different ones just in his room. There rest of the room has the normal furnishings, and the stray bean bags here and there. The walls are covered in various posters of those silly cats that say things like, "Hang in there!" and other cute animals. There's also various movies poster for those really obscure troll art cinema movies. [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px white;]fetch modus[/style] ❧ ASSEMBLY MODUS -- Leipus's modus takes his catchalouged items and replaces them with an array of different mechanical parts. He must use those parts to assemble a small item before he can retrieve the item. The bigger the item captalougued, the more difficult the repair will be. Teal cards, respectively. [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px white;]powers & skills[/style] ❧ TINKERING -- Leipus has always been adapt at making objects out of the spare parts or broken items in his hive, and after years of practice, he can make something useful really out of just a bunch of seemingly useless parts. While this usually just consists of him making silly toys and equipment to play around with, if given the right materials, he surely could manage to throw together a robotic limb. However, his work isn't as clean cut as some we have seen, and it'd probably have a lot of silly add-ons and exposed mechanisms and such. He isn't going for the aesthetic so much as the functionality. And trust him, his creations are always as fuctionable as the materials allow. ❧ SPRING BOOTS -- One of the most successful results of his tinkering. It's not really a power, but it's definately a skill to be able to use these things properly. Leipus made the spring boots a while back in an attempt to try and beat his lusus in a race, but only recently really began mastering them. Using the added thrust from the springs, he can jump much higher and longer than usual, as well as travel much faster than normal. It's extremely useful for absconding, but they can get a bit tricky to use in tight spaces. ❧ BEING SNEAKY -- it's one of his hidden talents. Being incredibly light-footed, Leipus can sneak up on almost anyone without being detected. However, due to his awful luck, it's often that something happens and he sneezes or goes into a wheezing spell before he can do the deed, whatever that deed might be. Either way, he doesn't even really try at this, it just sort of happens. He apologizes if he accidentally scares you. [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px white;]medium[/style] ❧ LOIAG is a forested world, covered in various types of deciduous trees and greenery. The trees aren't too closely together though, allowing for enough gaps in the canopy of leaves to give the ground a beautiful (and sometimes disorienting) splattered pattern of light and shadow. There are no paved roads, but there is obvious trails through the foliage created from being heavily traversed. All around little red blooms can be seen, signalling the precious ginseng that is growing and creating a therapeutic smell in the air. At first everything looks rather normal; that is until a flash of white catches your eye. That is, in fact, one of the many silver fox consorts who have mastered the art of illusion. They live peacefully in the branches of an abnormally large tree in the center LOIAG who's roots stretch out among the entire land. When conversed with, they are rather helpful, although they can get a bit devious and impish at times, sending you on wild goose chases for sport. They might eventually reveal one of the biggest secrets of the land, that not everything is as it seems. If one looks close enough, they might see a tree or rock that looks out of place, signalling the entrance to an underground river system which is home to the denizen Cetus. Speaking of Cetus, she's causing all sorts of trouble. The large lake near the consorts tree, their main source of water, is almost dried up thanks to her. It's Leipus's job to enter the underground system and track this bitch down and give her a stern talking to...and by that I mean kick her ass.
