Sure, while the kid was surprisingly calm and controlled for a troll she still got past all of the trials of the cavernous world and had been chosen by a lusus without any fuss. The lusus was a very large sort of hopping, furry lusus with bladed legs and a sharp set of teeth with a cozy pouch big enough for a grown child to rest in - the Kangarmom. (Yes, a kangaroo with sharp teeth and gnarly legs!) Ariaqi grew up in a very delocalized lawnring on a very large prairie where many of the hives were scattered about with large distances between all of them, most of them having a good portion of their hive underground as well with only one or two stories above ground at most. Kangarmom was a great tutor and guardian by helping with hunting with how fast she could hop and for how long she could hop. Kangarmom would get a little feisty if Ariaqi didn't box with her, though. Boxing a lusus that uses powerful bladed feet as their boxing limbs is always a challenge that brings new and dangerous thrills to a troll's everyday life. As the girl grew up, Ariaqi became obsessed with results. She became a perfectionist. The young troll always felt like she knew when someone was making a bad choice and she always felt determined to fix those issues, even if it meant taking some pretty nasty or excessively assertive measures (as any respectable troll would) to assure that the problem was resolved. Ariaqi was also a pretty avid LARPer back at Alternia as well. She enjoyed the thrill of being in control and liked plotting from the shadows, hitting people where they least expect it. While Ariaqi is soft, she's also a troll - many people have suffered under her plans and have even come close to dying. Such is the way of society. Still, Ariaqi has made a point never to actually kill anyone. If she ever has slain another LARPer, however, is another story entirely. As for Ariaqi's strifekind, Ariaqi uses long scarfs of fabric with blades attached to the ends and uses Logic Counter to confuse her enemies into attacking in the opposite direction they meant to attack in or by falling down a nearby hole or what-not. The scarf she wears around her hips is the aforementioned weapon too (Pretend it's a scarf and not a belt ;x). Later in their sgrub session, Ariaqi made a scarf that has a detachable midpoint so that she can swing her scarfs like bladed fans. Ariaqi's ancestor, the LODESTAR or the SIGNLESS, was a cultural revolutionary who couldn't care less about the low-bloods or high-bloods. The Lodestar saw visions of the past, a past of peace and joy that existed much further from their universe than the ancestor could ever hope to realize. The Lodestar saw unity of all colors of the spectrum. The Lodestar had a 3-part plan to try and drive a cultural revolution to help people see her new perspective due to those visions; she is best known for placing down many different un-editable beacons throughout the galaxy which any troll could find and learn of her vision and teachings of understanding. In the end, she failed, though her final sermon was also recorded on all of the surviving beacons for all to hear. It is said that the Lodestar was betrayed by someone very close to her and, in her last breaths, could still not find it in her heart to ever hate the Betrayer. Even as the Lodestar was forced to see what the BETRAYER had done as he revealed her location and every single beacon she had planted across the galaxy (Many survived as the Lodestar's other loyal followers would have moved them or some prospective learners of the following may have already found some beacons). Even with this humbling defeat, the Lodestar forgave the Betrayer. She could not forgive herself for not seeing her own folly and falling for the trap of trusting someone so completely. She didn't know if she could trust anyone anymore because she couldn't even trust her own judgement. Like the Lodestar at the end of her life, Ariaqi is also paranoid and very introverted. [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px white;]home[/style] ❧ Ariaqi's hive was just about in the middle of nowhere, a large prairie with game spread all over the place. Ariaqi's Kangarmom made it easy to hunt throughout the area. Ariaqi's hive was three stories large, with a top room having her computer. The top floor is also her 'command station' for all of her plans and plots in her LARP escapades, though once she entered the medium they were pretty pointless. The very bottom floor being underground and having a very large area just filled with train sets as well as her sleeping quarters, almost all of which are already set up. Every train has a factor of 3 carts which it pulls. The second floor was the ground level and had normal things like the kitchen and all that stuff. In LOEAL, Ariaqi eventually turned the underground walls into glass walls since it was underwater and her house was floating in the waves of LOEAL. Ariaqi was strangely over-protective of her room with the trains, making sure that nobody ever entered that room unless they absolutely had to. [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px white;]typing style[/style] ❧ Ar!aq! enɾoys flipping ǝvǝry leʇʇer in a word that is thǝ third leʇʇer in thǝ sentence, just like gamma is thǝ third leʇʇer in thǝ Greek alphabet. Shǝ also uses thǝ most perfect grammar shǝ cau usǝ; never resorting to acronyms or lǝǝtspǝak. Ar!aq! also only flips words whose letters arǝ diʌisible by three. If they arǝ not diʌisible by three, then nothing changes. Ar!aq! also ignores past tense parts of words like 'ing' or 'ed' to words when deʇermining if it is divisible by three; that's just how complex Ar!aq! wants to be. Ar!aq! says she types in gray to syɯbolize heɹ cool naʇure; Ar!aq! with heɹ apparently po!ntless syɯbolisɯ. In reality, she just wants to hide heɹ blood color. Ariaqi types in a very even and normal manner when she is becoming very agitated by something, without any changes to her text. SHE GETS A LOT MORE FRUSTRATED WHEN SHE FINALLY SPEARS AN AIRCRUSHER. [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px white;]symbol[/style] ❧ Ariaqi's symbol is the uppercase greek letter Gamma, Γ. The uppercase letter is used due to her assertive, dominant personality. Gamma in particular is used because uppercase gamma is the reflection coefficient. Look at the wave image to the right; the wave that passes through the medium is what others see, a careful and deliberate (slower) appearance while her more volatile feelings get locked up on the other side. That wave also represents how part of Ariaqi want to be introverted while another part wants to reach out to others. [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px white;]fetch modus[/style] ❧ Ariaqi uses the mirror modus. The mirror modus is a guessing game where Ariaqi must call out, either out loud or mentally, the antithesis or otherwise 'reverse/backwards' item or representation of said item. The captchalogue cards used for the fetch modus appear to be trapped inside of mirrors. The tricky part comes in by the fact that Ariaqi must break said mirror with an inventory abstraction of the antithesis of the item encased in the mirror, so not just any antithesis will do. It's got to be something hard enough to work. It has got to be perfect. [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px white;]powers & skills[/style] ❧
[style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px white;]medium[/style] ❧ The Land of Locomotives and Enigmas is a world constantly shrouded in night and most of the world is covered entirely in water, some areas descend for hundreds of miles. There are also a lot of islands scattered about the world as well. The world is actually very technological as a complex train system that runs throughout all of the island and even on the sea floor of the less deep areas of the planet. These trains are made of a mysterious black metal with silver lining The consorts, androgynous merfolk with hammerhead shark heads, live in underwater village connected by the robust train system. Every village has re-breathers which one breathes in which lets visitors breathe underwater only on LOEAL. The water of LOEAL seems to, mysteriously, not dilute sound waves at all and talking underwater seems easy. Everything about the planet seems to be an enigma! The denizen, Eurynome, is a mermaid-like figure who has captured many of the mersharkfolk and set the train system into complete disarray, ruining trade around the entire planet and causing entire villages to starve off. [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px white;]sidequest[/style] ❧ Ariaqi's sidequest is still ongoing, to this very day, though she has come a long way. Through defending others and keeping people together so they don't make bad decisions and kill each other Many puzzles on LOEAL (of which there were hundreds of) had to deal with revealing unfeigned emotions to accomplish a goal. Many of these puzzles have been annihilated when Ariaqi continuously failed these tests and blew several of her precious gaskets. Ariaqi also had to fix the train system - that part was easy, though. Ariaqi loves trains. | [atrb=width,150][atrb=valign,top][atrb=bgcolor,B9FC6F][atrb=style,color:252525; padding: 8px;][style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px #252525;]positive[/style] ❧ commandeering ❧ calm ❧ collected ❧ open-minded ❧ listener ❧ confident ❧ thoughtful ❧ assertive ❧ provocative [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px #252525;]negative[/style] ❧ introverted ❧ bottled powder keg ❧ perfectionist ❧ confounding (ex: her typing) ❧ rebellious ❧ sensitive ❧ paranoid ❧ reclusive ❧ insomniac [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px #252525;]interests[/style] ❧ locorailimatrons (trains) [/style]❧ symbolism ❧ puns (symbolism!) ❧ helping others ❧ control ❧ LARP ❧ speed, going fast ❧ abnormal things ❧ the number three |
