And technically always will be. Once the Kids began to play the game, however, he began to gain more sentience, producing imps and gaining other chess pieces, and of course, his Queen, and just mostly getting pretty gracious and entitled. Now all he had to do was start raining war down on the pathetic Prospitians and begin the Reckoning that he was destined to unleash! Well, that and other stuff, like try on some clothes, kill some people, make new friends, torture his agents, make appearances at charity specials. You know, Kingly stuff. [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px white;]home[/style] ❧ BK has two points in time he's going to be hanging out from. As The Black King "The Begotton Killer" he's got his royal palace on Derse, where he resides with his Queen, however most of his time will be spend on The Battlefield where he gives orders to his troops. As "The Bemired Kindler" he'll be somewhere on the desolate wasteland that is Earth, post Reckoning, and communicate primarily through his spacepod thingy. [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px white;]typing style[/style] ❧ BK: ♚ He begins all of his sentences with a black crown symbol, while the King, in order to make sure everyone knows it. BK: ♚ For the most part he speaks normally, but with a certain air of dominance. He enjoys commanding others, and emphasizes those commands and other important words with italics. BK: ♚ He also gets a bit aggressive and tends to go into way too much detail about what he's going to do to you and where your intestines are going to be when he gets his hands on you. BK: ♚ He still tries to be polite though, and will beg your pardon, self-created-title here, even if he's about to tell you to go make yourself useful and impale yourself on the imperial fence because at least then you'd made decent enough decoration. BK: ♚ He also has whatever tendencies he gets through the prototypings he inherits. BK: ♚ When he's finally finished gracing you with his royal presence, he will always get the last word in, regardless of if it's needed, and leave with one last reminder of how he is definitely the King. ♚ BK: However, when he's not the King, he doesn't really have use for those flashy symbols, as they only serve to remind him of WHAT A FUCKED UP WORLD THIS IS. He figures he should probably stop yelling at nothing like that BUT HE CAN'T HELP IT, IT'S LIKE HIS BRAIN IS JUST BACKFIRING ON HIM. So you could say he's gotten a bit crazy. And by 'a bit' I mean a lot. BK: Even though BOUTS OF UNCONTROLLABLE RAGE will just rip themselves out of him, he's a lot more willing to calm himself down now. And recently, he's been able to express more sincere, less homicidal feelings. Though he tries to keep up his Kingly manners, he falls into more commonfolk language now, as he learns more of it from watching the Kids play. BK: Which means he inherits some of the typing quirks of all the Kids he's had contact with all in one. [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px white;]symbol[/style] ❧ The Black King, naturally, has the cross symbol, that shows his place in the Chessboard army, which is to say, the top. His secondary symbol is the Patriarchal Cross, or a cross with two horizontal lines, which means roughly the same thing. [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px white;]fetch modus[/style] ❧ Haha Fetch Modus? Like he needs that, he's the King! He just picks things up, when he's not having someone else pick it up for him. [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px white;]powers & skills[/style] ❧ Being the King, BK gets all of his powers from his KINGLY SCEPTER, of all the Protypings that the Kids use before entering their session. Using this power makes him pretty much ALL POWERFUL, even if he has to wear whatever ridiculous costume that goes with it. Since he's supposed to be the FINAL BOSS, he's pretty much unbeatable until the end of the game, except for odd occasions when things DON'T EXACTLY GO AS PLANNED. As things are prototyped, his appearance and abilities will be added. [style=font-size:14px; letter-spacing: 3px; border-bottom: dotted 1px white;]quest[/style] ❧ As the Black King he is fated to lead the Dersites to victory in a battle that is fated to always end in the Black King's favor. Once that is done, he is fated to trigger THE RECKONING which will throw countless meteors towards Skaia, who will in turn try to delay it's destruction by sending the meteors to Earth. However, it is also true that he will not remain King, and sometime after The Reckoning, lose his Scepter and become and Exile.
