It is 2012, and the mafia underground grows vicious under the iron thumb of the Millefiore, a family thriving after the collapse of the Vongola and its alliances ten years earlier. The Varia has split into its own family; the guardians were never chosen, and are scattered throughout the world, with no idea of what ugliness fate has waiting in the wings.
A tutor, cursed with only half-a-life left and carrying the hope of the once proud family on his shoulders, has gathered them all together in Tokyo with the promise that the Vongola famiglia will be revived and at full strength. Sent there by the ninth, they are left to strike down the Millefiore, and struggle to piece the famiglias--Cavallone, Bovino--still living in the shadows of the mafia underground.
